The Letter of Paul to the Laodiceans

1 This letter is sent from Paul, as an apostle not of men nor by man, but by Yeshua the Messiah, to the brethren that are at Laodicea. 2 Grace and peace be to you from God the Father, and our Lord Yeshua the Messiah.

3 In all my prayers I give thanks to the Messiah that you have continued in Him and persevered in His works, looking for the promise at the day of judgment. 4 The vain murmurings of some have not overcome you, even though they creep in so that they may turn you away from the truth of the Good News that I have preached. 5 For God will cause those who follow my teachings to continue ministering to the increase of the truth of the Good News, and accomplishing righteousness, and the work of salvation, eternal life.

6 My bonds, for which I suffer in the Messiah, are able to be seen by all men. In this I rejoice, and am glad. 7 This is counted for me as everlasting salvation, which also is brought about by your prayers, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit, whether this be in life or in death. 8 For me to live is life in the Messiah, and for me to die to is joy. 9 May our Lord also work His mercy in you, that you may have love for one another, and be of one mind.

10 Therefore, dearly beloved, as you have heard this message in my presence, be steadfast and continue to work in the fear of God. This will be counted for you as eternal life, 11 for it is God who works in you. 12 Whatever you do, do it without sin.

13 As for the rest, dearly beloved, rejoice in the Messiah, and beware of those who are lovers of money. 14 Let all your prayers be made openly before God, and be steadfast in the mind of the Messiah. 15 You should live according to the things are sound, true, sober, just, and lovely, 16 and whatever you have heard and received, keep fast in your heart.

17 Peace be to you. 18 The saints salute you. 19 May the grace of the Master Yeshua be with your spirit.

20 This letter is to be read before those who are at Colossus, just as the letter to the Colossians is to be to be read before you.
